Our Story

Legacy Disability Support was founded by a Registered Nurse who saw a growing need for disability services that were not only reliable and compassionate, but also clinically safe and professionally led. With years of frontline nursing experience, our founder witnessed firsthand how the right support can transform a person's confidence, independence, and quality of life — especially for participants with complex health needs.

Driven by this vision, Legacy Disability Support was created to bridge the gap between traditional disability support and high-quality clinical care. Our nursing-led model ensures every participant receives support that is safe, respectful, and aligned with best-practice healthcare standards. From daily living assistance to high-intensity supports, we deliver care with the same level of attention and professionalism you would expect in a clinical setting — but with the warmth and personal connection of a dedicated support team.

What began as a commitment to "do care differently" has grown into a trusted service across Adelaide, known for responsiveness, integrity, and genuine compassion. Today, Legacy Disability Support continues to honour its founding purpose: to provide exceptional, person-centred support that empowers individuals to live safely, confidently, and with dignity.

Our Mission

To deliver high-quality, person-centred disability support that enhances independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. Guided by experienced Registered Nurses, we ensure every participant receives support that respects their choices, honours their goals, and enhances their quality of life.

Our Vision

A South Australia where every person with disability has the opportunity to participate fully in community life — celebrated, included, and supported with the highest standard of clinical care.

Our Promise

We promise to always listen first, act with integrity, and treat every person we support as a valued individual — never a number, never a case file.

Our Core Values

These values guide every interaction, every decision, and every care plan we create across Adelaide.

🤝

Respect

We treat every person with dignity, kindness, and genuine regard for their choices, culture, and identity. We listen carefully, communicate openly, and honour each participant's right to be heard and involved in decisions about their care.

🛡️

Safety

Safety is at the centre of everything we do. Our nursing-led approach, strong clinical governance, and clear procedures ensure supports are delivered in a way that protects participants, families, and staff. We follow best-practice guidelines and NDIS requirements at all times.

💜

Compassion

We care with empathy, patience, and understanding. We recognise that every person's journey is different, and we take the time to build trust, offer reassurance, and provide support that is emotionally as well as physically caring.

Excellence

We are committed to high standards in every aspect of our work — from clinical care to communication and reliability. We continuously learn, improve, and reflect on our practice so participants receive the best possible support, every time.

🌟

Empowerment

We believe in supporting people to live life on their own terms. Our role is to build confidence, encourage independence, and provide the right level of support so participants can make informed choices and pursue their goals.
